 On Wednesday morning (August 27), hip-hop impresario Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested by Las Vegas police and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery domestic-violence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription — all related to a domestic violence incident that allegedly involved Knight's girlfriend of three years.
Police claim Knight punched the woman in the head while the two were engaged in a heated argument while he was driving his car. In an effort to escape, police claim Knight's girlfriend "purposely grabbed the steering wheel," causing the car to veer off the roadway and into a curb. After the car had come to a complete stop, Knight's girlfriend allegedly fled from the vehicle and ran off on foot. Knight gave chase and eventually caught up to her, police said. THE SIMMONS SISTERS

Allhiphop.com say's Popular personality DJ Vlad has filed a $4 million dollar assault and battery lawsuit against rapper Rick Ross, stemming from an altercation at the Ozone Awards (August 10).
In federal documents filed yesterday in NY District Court, DJ Vlad, born Vlad Lyubovny, alleges that “with calculated planning, Rick Ross lured DJ Vlad to a meeting for the purpose of obtaining retribution. At that meeting, Rick Ross’ entourage of thugs carried out Rick Ross’ wishes in his presence and severely beat DJ Vlad causing permanent bodily injury.” According to Vlad, the beating was due to his coverage on Vladtv.com of reports that Ross previously worked as a correction officer. Something doesn't look right.

 Contrary to several internet reports, Lil’ Wayne’s daughter was not killed on Sunday night (August 10), the rapper confirmed with AllHipHop.com in an exclusive statement. Several websites reported early Monday afternoon (August 11) that eight-year-old Reginae Carter had been killed in a traffic accident.
“It has come to my attention that there are recent reports circulating regarding my daughter. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who are genuinely concerned about Reginae and her safety,” Lil Wayne told AllHipHop.com. “Please allow me to dispel any rumors or speculations and report that my daughter is alive, healthy and surrounded by family who care and love her dearly. The rumors are completely false and unfounded; neither Reginae nor any other member of my family has been involved in any car accident. My family and I truly appreciate the concern and support shown to us.”
